THIS IS NOT A DRILL! THIS IS IT GUYS! No, it's not an April Fool's trick. I am officially a millionaire.
I've had a week of ups and downs and though I felt like passing out from signs of flu by Friday, I decided to push through with joining my work colleagues for a road trip to La Union. We've been planning it ever since and I did't wanna be a kill joy backing out the last minute.
A positive month at last! Maven is in the recovery. It has been some very exhausting (both in energy and money) past months, and finally things are starting to settle down. I am able to go back to routine and strike balance in my life.
There's a new Onsen spa that just opened in I'm Hotel in Makati, and they are offering it at an introductory price of only Php1,500.00. It's still a bit expensive in my opinion though that thought quickly escaped me when I found out to things: BUFFET and YUKATA.
Welcome to the love month! ❤ Second net worth update of the year and turns out that it's down again as expected. Let's see the breakdown and what's the culprit behind these figures.
Like the typical accountant, work has been veeery busy these past two weeks of the new year. I felt like I was triple-hatting with yearend books closing, 2017 budget planning, and my new role - zone financial planning and analysis.
Today, I'm officially celebrating 2 years of recording my net worth - and counting! It's an exercise that have upped my personal awareness and discipline in my finances so I hope that you'll include this as one of your resolutions starting this 2017.
Along with mine, I'm also done doing cash flow planning for 2017 for H. Aside from what we did during the last exercise, we've also looked into her next year's cash flow to determine how she needs to manage her cash for spending, saving, and investing. And these are all aligned with her plans for 2017 as well.
Our company COOP dividends are out! And I wasn't even expecting them. It's like forgetting that you left money in your pocket. Haha!
So H had a brilliant idea this morning to invest in SunLife through me. To be honest, I wasn't pushing her to get a policy since she already has a VUL and whenever she asks me what to do with her finances, I just encourage her to compute her budget first. Haha.
